Architect's Comments
The eleventh hole is the architect's favorite hole on the course. The Sickle is a flat piece of ground, surrounded by natural wetlands. It looks rather simple from the tee, but the hole is set up on angles. The green is set in beautifully against the backdrop of the trees. The bunkers are cut well into the slope. It seems so simple from the tee, yet it is such a striking hole strategically.
